Improving Radboud University’s Research Data Management Policy
FAIR-IMPACT’s RPO support programme aimed to help research performing organisations to better understand their drivers for becoming more FAIR-enabling, to self-assess their current FAIR-enabling capacity and develop plans for improvement. During the support programme participants were asked to undertake at least one engagement activity to facilitate awareness raising and/or to enable cooperation and collaboration with peers across the organisation. The support programme ran between February and October 2024 with a series of ten virtual workshops where participants were introduced to key concepts to support their journey toward becoming more FAIR-enabling followed by peer exchange workshops and one-to-one meetings with FAIR-IMPACT mentors. This FAIR Implementation Story outlines the specific aims and actions of Radboud University in relation to their participation in the RPO support programme.
"At Radboud University, each research institute has a data steward, and these data stewards are supported by the Digital Competence Centre (DCC), located at the University Library. The DCC is the university-wide hub for Research Data Management (RDM) knowledge, infrastructure, and collaboration".
