The FAIR Implementation Team (FIT) was composed of leading members from each of the Work Packages and integrated use case partners to ensure a joined-up approach to the engagement activities. This cross-WP team had dedicated resources for use cases, approaches and solutions, supporting adoption and implementation of FAIR-enabling practices, policies, tools or technical specifications. The FIT also acted as the mechanism for coordination with the BY-COVID project and EOSC4Cancer project.
The FIT was at the heart of the project’s support programmes and instrumental in the process of managing open calls for cascading grants, and the evaluation of applications. It ensured that gaps and priority areas were highlighted in open calls; and helped to identify domain-specific solutions that had potential for reuse in other domains.
Ultimately, the FAIR Implementation Team ensured coordination and a coherent approach towards the stakeholders in the different use cases.
