Towards a FAIR multiplatform data observatory in the SE Bay of Biscay
FAIR-IMPACT’s Research Performing Organization (RPO) support programme aimed to help research performing organisations to better understand their drivers for becoming more FAIR-enabling, to self-assess their current FAIR-enabling capacity and develop plans for improvement. During the support programme, participants were asked to undertake at least one engagement activity to facilitate awareness raising and/or to enable cooperation and collaboration with peers across the organisation. The support programme ran between February and October 2024 with a series of ten virtual workshops where participants were introduced to key concepts to support their journey towards becoming more FAIR-enabling followed by peer exchange workshops and one-to-one meetings with FAIR-IMPACT mentors. This FAIR Implementation Story outlines the specific aims and actions of AZTI in relation to their participation in the RPO support programme.
"During the RPO support programme, we focused on developing a research data policy and data management plans (DMPs) for the ebegi observatory data, as first thematic areas to measure and advance in the data FAIRness. Around these two areas, we established our Action Plan within the RPO support programme".
