The FAIR National Roadshow series is visiting Finland on the 17th of May 2024!
The event was virtually hosted by the CSC, in Finland.
This event brought together the Finnish Academia to learn about the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and its impact on the national level. The programme was structured in two parts. First, the participants got a comprehensive overview of what EOSC is all about and the status of its implementation complemented by a presentation by University of Eastern Finland, the first Finnish research performance organisation that joined the EOSC Association. The second part explored national services for research and the important role of international collaboration in developing them to implement the EOSC vision. Lastly, the participants were informed about FAIR-IMPACT engagement opportunities.Ample time was reserved for discussion.
