Measuring FAIR4RS: application of the F-UJI tool to the Ersilia Model Hub

The “FAIR Implementation Workshop - Measuring FAIR4RS: application of the F-UJI tool to the Ersilia Model Hub” will take place on 22nd May from 14:00-15:00 CEST.

Confirm your registration below. Note: Registration for the workshop is free but mandatory if you would like to attend.

This workshop will present the key findings from the FAIR-Impact Support Action to enhance the FAIRness assessment of research software. Gemma Turon, Ersilia’s co-founder, Software Sustainability Fellow and one of the main developers of the Ersilia Model Hub, a platform for serving open source AI models to the drug discovery community, will discuss how FAIR principles for research software are being adopted at the organisation level and our open source community. In the talk, we will showcase the adaptation of the F-UJI tool originally designed for research data, to the specific needs of research software assessment. This adaptation enables automated evaluation using metrics aligned with the FAIR4RS Principles. We will highlight key learnings from our participation in the FAIR Implementation Action, and how we have acted on them to make our software more FAIR.

This workshop will be especially helpful to all those developing or contributing to research software for any scientific discipline.
