Researchers play a key role in making their outputs findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR) but equally the organisations who employ them, the funding bodies that financially support and influence the way they work, and the range of infrastructures that are used by researchers to create, share and curate their outputs also play critical roles. On a national level, the coordination of efforts and actors is important.
To help foster a FAIR ecosystem, FAIR-IMPACT will support representatives from national level initiatives to begin or progress their FAIR-enabling journeys. FAIR-IMPACT will provide examples of good practice, dedicated guidance and one-to-one support to successful applicants to self-assess their current capabilities and to develop FAIR implementation action plans. For more information on this support programme, see Route 1 on our open call webpage.
FAIR-IMPACT will introduce this support programme via an hour long, virtual workshop to on August 25th. The session will outline the support that will be provided for National Level Initiatives, explain what is expected of participants, and provide an overview of the application process. There will be time set aside for participants to have a chance to ask any practical questions about the support programmes.
Registration for this webinar is free and open to all.
