FAIR-IMPACT at the Event
FAIR-IMPACT will host a dynamic session on 4th December 2024, at ZKM Vortragssaal from 16:30 to 18:00 CET, titled "Semantics for FAIR & FAIR Semantics," organised by Yann Le Franc from e-Science Data Factory.
The session will focus on the role of semantic artefacts in achieving semantic interoperability and supporting the implementation of FAIR principles. It will highlight community-driven initiatives around semantic artefacts and introduce recommendations, guidelines, and services developed within EOSC-related projects. Additionally, the discussion will explore the potential for generic semantic services that a pan-European infrastructure like EUDAT could offer to help research communities and infrastructures integrate semantics into their data management systems.
The conference promises to provide valuable insights into emerging trends and innovations in RDM while emphasiing collaboration and the adoption of FAIR data practices.
