FAIR-IMPACT is excited to announce the co-located Final FAIR-IMPACT Interoperability Workshop at the EOSC Winter School in Seville, Spain. The workshop, titled "Future Perfect: EOSC Building Blocks from the FAIR-IMPACT Past and Present," is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
The second edition of the EOSC Winter School will take place from January 20–23, 2025, in Seville, Spain. This initiative, organised by EOSC-A with support from the EOSC Focus project, addresses the growing need for collaboration among Horizon Europe EOSC-related projects. The concept for the Winter School arose from a suggestion at the European Commission’s June 2023 coordination meeting, which identified a significant collaboration gap within these projects. FAIR-IMPACT’s Final Interoperability Workshop at EOSC Winter School 2025
In conjunction with the EOSC Winter School, the FAIR-IMPACT team invites you to participate in the Final FAIR-IMPACT Interoperability Workshop on January 20, 2025, in Seville. The workshop, titled "Future Perfect: EOSC Building Blocks from the FAIR-IMPACT Past and Present," will focus on advancing interoperability within the EOSC context.
The workshop’s primary goal is to maximise the value of previous workshop outcomes and apply them to the EOSC ecosystem. EOSC projects will be invited to present their approaches to overcoming interoperability challenges and achieving shared goals. These presentations will address a broad range of aspects, including semantic, organisational, legal, as well as technical and operational dimensions of interoperability.
The workshop conclusions will be aligned with the EOSC Strategic Pillars and will serve as valuable input to subsequent sessions at the EOSC Winter School.
