Join us for a special FAIR Implementation Workshop on 20 March 10:00- 11:30 CET dedicated to the OntoPortal Federation's joint release! This workshop will showcase how the following Semantic Artefact Catalogues: AgroPortal, EcoPortal, EarthPortal, and BiodivPortal, now enable federated browsing and search, facilitating seamless access to distributed semantic artefacts. Developed within the FAIR-IMPACT project and in collaboration with the OntoPortal Alliance, this federation enhances ontology discovery and reuse across multiple domains.
During the session, we will:
- Demonstrate the new federated browsing and search functionalities as well as other dimensions that has been federated by these OntoPortal instances;
- Highlight the benefits of cross-portal interoperability for the research community;
- Provide hands-on guidance on leveraging the federated OntoPortal ecosystem;
- Engage with users to collect feedback and discuss future developments.
The workshop will also quickly present two other approaches to Semantic Artefact Catalogues interoperability: (i) FAIR-IMPACT’s MOD-API implementation action and (ii) TS4NFDI’s API Gateway project.
